2023 BMW 740i M Sport First Edition G11

BMW Japan Corp. (President: Christian Wiedmann) is planning to officially announce the new BMW 7 Series in Japan in the fourth quarter of 2022, the initial production limited model “THE FIRST EDITION (” Pre-sale of “The First Edition” will be accepted from today at the BMW Online Store (https://online-store.bmw.co.jp/). Delivery is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2022 or later. 

The “THE FIRST EDITION” announced this time is based on the three models of the BMW 740i Excellence, the BMW 740i M Sport, and the electric vehicle BMW i7 xDrive60 Excellence as the initial production models of the new model, and will be sold in a limited number of 50 units each, for a total of 150 units.

“THE FIRST EDITION” is the world’s first mass-produced vehicle with a rear seat entertainment experience including a 31.3-inch 8K panoramic display, as well as Bowers & Wilkins, which boasts high specs with an amplifier output of 1,965W, 40 speakers, and 32 channels. Specially equipped with a diamond surround sound system, it can provide a luxurious theater experience that far exceeds the expectations of traditional in-car entertainment.

The body and interior colors are centered around the combination of mineral white and black sapphire, which are often requested by customers, with high-quality black merino leather seats, while the BMW 740i Excellence includes the new BMW. The smoke white merino leather adopted from the new model is adopted for the oxide gray that stands out for the authentic and elegant appearance of the 7 series, and the combination sheet with the light gray cashmere is adopted. The BMW i7 xDrive60 Excellence has a vibrant two-tone paint of tanzanite blue and oxide gray with the coach line adopted from the new model, and a bicolor merino leather of tartofo and night blue. Five seats are used for each.

In addition, as a special equipment only for “THE FIRST EDITION”, a special wheel with 3D polishing is installed to enhance the special feeling as an initial production model.

All models will be pre-sold only at the BMW online store and will be delivered early after the official announcement of the new BMW 7 Series in Japan.
