The McLaren Neon Spectrum theme is inspired by the flow of urban neon at night. Based on the GT model, five new custom color schemes have been created, including Xiaguang Neon, Qinglong Neon, Aurora Neon, Purple Gold Neon and Blue Ice Neon, as well as four interior designs.

MSO successfully launched the GT MSO Nebula Knight series designed for the Chinese market in 2021, which has been widely praised. MSO returns for 2022 with a new McLaren Neon Spectrum themed GT. MSO makes full use of outstanding skills and technology to create unique customized vehicles to provide Chinese customers with a more personalized expression.

The city is pregnant with thousands of rhythms every moment. At night, when the lights are on, neon lights up the night, injecting new soul into the city. The McLaren Neon Spectrum Theme GT is born at night, re-deconstructing lines and colors in an urban context, and interpreting the source of inspiration for the combination of aesthetics, humanities and technological elements.

The McLaren Neon Spectrum-themed GT has introduced five new body bespoke colours in different themes. The “Colourstream” contrasting gradient technology used in the exterior spray selects a color matching that complements the urban lighting and lighting effects, and the dark colors gradually merge and extend, subtly showing the speed effect of MSO’s ingenious design. The color flow technology makes the colors present different tones and visual effects of streamers and phantoms according to the changes of different motion states, light environments and viewer angles. The driver walks among the illusionary colors, gets rid of the constraints of time and space, and explores the infinite possibilities of life.

In addition, the body is painted with MSO-made and hand-painted diamond-pattern paint. The diamond-shaped lattice pattern is inspired by the window lattice of the building, which perfectly echoes and conveys the multi-layered line tension of Chinese avant-garde architecture. The rhombus pattern and the primer present a gradient and transition effect, subtly driving out the multiple elements of dynamism, speed and technology covered by futurism in the static state. It took more than four weeks to paint the exterior of the new car. For the first time, the MSO custom 10-spoke wheel adopts the pinstripe road, which further strengthens the visual impact and the sense of line.
