Mazda Italy launches on the Italian market the 2021 version of the CX-30, model sales bestseller in the compact crossover segment, which is renewed with the renovation of the exclusive motore gasoline skyactivx SPCCI (Spark Controlled Compression Ignition) of # mazda , which offers higher performance and greater efficiency. The advanced skyactivx 2.0-liter now boasts 186 hp and 240 Nm of torque against the previous 180 hp and 224 Nm. WLTP fuel consumption also improves, which has dropped to 5.7 l per 100 km, and CO 2 emissions decreased to 128 g of CO 2 in the combined cycle (WLTP data).
These improvements, both in power and efficiency, have been achieved thanks to the optimization of the combustion control, the modified pistons and the update of the #mazda M Hybrid software . This results in a wider operating range in combustion efficiency and, by changing the skyactivx engine compression ratio from 16.3: 1 to 15.0: 1, even greater ignition stability has been provided, further reducing the already very low risk of unexpected self-ignitions or pre-ignitions due to the variability in fuel quality on the various markets. The increase in torque is distributed throughout the delivery range, mainly giving a pleasant feeling of fullness and responsiveness at low revs.
Three engines available on the CX-30 2021, all equipped with tecnologia mazda M Hybrid: 2.0L #skyactivg from 122 hp, 2.0L #skyactivg 150 hp and 2.0L #skyactivx now with a power of 186 hp; the last two units are also available with Skyactiv Drive automatic transmission and i-Activ AWD all-wheel drive. Now the skyactivg 2.0L 122 and 150 HP engines with manual gearbox also have lower carbon dioxide emissions, contained below the 135 g / km limit in the WLTP cycle. This allows all hybrid engines, both skyactivg and #skyactivx, to enjoy the recent incentives introduced by the Italian government with the aim of making the country’s mobility more sustainable.
With the evolution of its engines, and in particular of skyactivx , which will also equip the Mazda3 2021, the Hiroshima manufacturer confirms that it belongs to a world of technological excellence and unique engineering capacity. An exercise in continuous improvement that has brought a totally new and unique #motor to the highest levels in the world market panorama for concept and technology .

2021 Mazda CX-30 – European Version Front View 3/4
In terms of design , the CX-30 2021 confirms the winning style of the previous version and differs, externally, for the new “e-SKYACTIV G” and “e-SKYACTIV X” badges. As for the interior, the planned changes consist of a new black coating of the upper dashboard and interior finishes, first in blue on the Evolve, Executive and Exceed versions. On the top of the range Exclusive versions, however, the current brown color will remain unchanged.
With Model Year 2021, the CX-30, only for the 2.0L skyactivx 186 HP 2WD version with manual gearbox, will also be available with the exclusive 100th Anniversary trim that enriches the already complete standard equipment of the model, with additional high-end finishes common to all other models in the 100th Anniversary range, such as the Snowflake White Pearl exterior color scheme, Burgundy Red leather interior seats with front headrests with embossed logo, exterior badges, center hubcaps with exclusive logo and a series of further details designed to celebrate the Japanese car manufacturer’s 100th anniversary.

The mazdacx30 2021 is expected to arrive in Italian dealerships from the end of January with a list price ranging from 24,950 Euros for the 2.0L #skyactivg 122 CV Evolve version up to 36,750 Euros for the 2.0L skyactivx Exclusive.
