The electric sports car manufacturer ELEGEND announces the finalization of a capital increase. The financing round raised an amount with which the company from Beilngries in Bavaria, Germany, is using to secure its further growth. Interest in our company remains unbroken on the customer, fan and investor side,“ explains Marcus Holzinger, Chairman and Head of Design at ELEGEND AG. „From the official foundation of the company, we have managed to follow our ambitious roadmap for growth. We are in a good financial position and continue to consistently drive the development of our technical platform.“

On July 7, ELEGEND AG held its first annual general meeting, at which the team led by Chairman Marcus Holzinger gave shareholders an account of the latest economic and technical developments surrounding ELEGEND and the EL1. Holzinger was able to announce that the company is currently appraised at a market value of several million euros.

For the next steps on the way to the delivery launch of the EL1 and its two planned successor models, ELEGEND AG would like to create further investment opportunities.

The technical basis of the first ELEGEND model EL1 is almost fully developed. As a result, the company will soon send a ready-to-run chassis to the test track to put all the vehicle‘s components to the test under full load. ELEGEND‘s main objective is to provide practical proof of the EL1‘s performance data mentioned during the presentation.

THE EL1 is an electric sports car with a newly developed carbon monocoque in retrofuturistic design. Its four wheels are driven by three electric motors, each producing 150 kW at the front and 225 kW at the rear. Total power is electronically limited to 600 kW. The price per vehicle is 890,000 euros plus VAT.

ELEGEND will participate in the MYLE Festival in Munich from July 22 to 24, 2022. At this novel automotive event, the design model of the EL1 will be presented in the modern, industrial ambience of Motorworld Munich.
