BYD Song PLUS adopts the design language of BYD family Dragon Face 2.0, and fine-tunes the appearance details for different powers. Separately, the fuel version of the Song PLUS adopts the large-size front grille that the family is used to, and the internal chrome-plated element design makes the car look very atmospheric. The pure electric version of Song PLUS adopts the closed grille design above BYD Han, which has more prominent visual effects and stronger recognition. For the rear, the pure electric version and the fuel version are not distinguished by styling like the front. In terms of details, the new car uses a through-type taillight set and adds chrome elements for embellishment to further widen the car’s lateral viewing angle. In terms of body size, its length, width, and height are 4705/1890/1680mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2765mm. Except for the height, other parameters exceed Song Pro.
The new car adopts a new design style as a whole, and the overall visual effect is particularly prominent. In terms of details, the Song PLUS center console adopts more line designs. The smooth lines not only bring a sense of hierarchy, but also increase the quality of the vehicle. At the same time, the large-size floating central control screen, combined with the full LCD instrumentation and the three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, greatly improves the overall sense of technology of the new car.
It is worth mentioning that the new car uses color-blocking integrated sports seats for the first time, which is elegant and dynamic. At the same time, the blue interior atmosphere light is matched with the chrome elements on the door trim and the dark pattern elements at the center console, making it younger and more fashionable.
The pure electric model will be equipped with BYD’s third-generation permanent magnet synchronous drive motor. According to different adjustments, its maximum power is 163 horsepower and 184 horsepower. In terms of power batteries, the new car will be equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The new car will provide 405km and 505km battery life versions for consumers to choose.
