On June 13, the new Baojun RS-7 was officially unveiled at the 2020 Chongqing Auto Show. The new car is positioned as a medium-sized SUV with a wheelbase of 2900mm. In the exterior part, the new car adopts the latest family-style “interstellar aesthetics” design language, and the octagonal matrix interstellar array grille is blackened and presents a straight waterfall shape at the same time. The front headlights on both sides are slender and narrow, creating sharp eyes and significantly improving recognition.
At the rear of the car, the new car adopts a small-sized taillight group design, and the tailgate is left blank for a large area, creating a concise and convergent feeling. In addition, the new car is also equipped with a total of two exhausts on both sides. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new Baojun RS-7 are 4930/1975/1765 (1775) mm, and the wheelbase is 2900mm.
In terms of interior, the center console of the new car adopts a design similar to that of the new Baojun RC-6 model. The most eye-catching aspect is the use of connected dual screens, which effectively enhances the sense of technology. In addition, the layout of the central T-shaped area and the co-pilot area of the new car is more capable, with the flat-bottomed double-spoke multifunctional steering wheel and the two-color decorative panel set off, bringing a certain warm feeling.
In terms of configuration, the new Baojun RS-7 will provide 6 seats/7 seats layout, reversing image, panoramic sunroof, rear privacy glass, front parking radar, panoramic image and different styles of wheels, etc. In addition, in the technology configuration The new car will also be equipped with a 24-hour online network connection system, 5G Internet of Vehicles, and intelligent driving and intelligent safety systems. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5T engine code-named 280T, with a maximum power of 177 horsepower, which meets the National VI emission standards.
