ARCFOX αT was created by the international car design master De Silva, with his original “Borderless” design concept. The radial line in the center of the front of the car presents an “X” shape, implying to challenge the boundary. The new car adopts a closed center grid design, which is more simple and stylish with the triangular headlights and diversion holes. The new car adopts a suspended roof design. The roof slopes downwards from the B-pillar. The overall shape is relatively smooth. The upper and lower waist lines are straight and deep, creating a diving body posture. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4788/1940/1683mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 2915mm.
The shape of the rear of the car is sharp and angular, and the through-type taillights enhance the sense of hierarchy at the rear of the car. The diversion hole below and the large-sized trapezoid form an “X” shape, which echoes the shape of the front face. The suspended spoiler above the rear of the car not only contributes to the 0.27Cd drag coefficient of the car, but also enhances the sporty atmosphere at the rear.
As for the interior, the new car adopts an enveloping cockpit design, the center console is dominated by flat straight lines, and the functional divisions are clear and reasonable. The large area of the center console is mainly made of soft materials, supplemented by metal wire drawing and baking varnish materials, and the interior texture and touch are good. The steering wheel is covered with leather material, and the perforation treatment at the 3-9 o’clock position can play the role of anti-skid and perspiration.
the new car supports a four-screen interconnection system consisting of a 20.3-inch central control screen, a 10.1-inch touch screen, a 12.3-inch LCD instrument and an 8-inch windshield HUD. the new car is equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system. The maximum power of the front and rear motors is 218Ps and the peak torque is 360N·m. In terms of power batteries, the new car uses a battery pack made by South Korea’s SK and provides battery packs with two capacities of 67kWh and 93.6KWh. The cruising range under NEDC operating conditions is 480km and 653km respectively; in addition, the car has also launched An H four-wheel drive performance model with a NEDC cruising range of 600km.
