The brilliant and environmentally friendly hybrid

SWIFT HYBRID mounts the new 1.2 engine signed K12D that saw the debut this year with IGNIS HYBRID and that is euro 6D approved. This unit four-cylinder gasoline is characterized by a short run, with ready-made answers and agile them at the accelerator control. Its maximum power is 83 hp while . The maximum torque is 107 Nm. This peak is recorded at only 2,800 laps, a 1,600 rpm lower than the previous K12C engine. On the road this results in an extraordinary elasticity in driving, also thanks to the support provided by the Suzuki HYBRID system. Here Suzuki is further improving the already-appreciated ISG-based system (Integrated Starter Generator). It is a device that performs the functions of alternator, starter and electric motor, to provide a torque whenever there is a need for more cue from low-regimes, such as starting and overtaking. Compared to the system previously adopted, the new SWIFT HYBRID has now a 10Ah battery (greater than previous 3Ah). Although the unit is unchanged from the past, the unit is able to provide more support thanks to the increased capacity. This translates into lower load for the thermal engine and therefore lower fuel consumption emissions.

The benefits do not stop, of course, just at consumption. New SWIFT HYBRID Accesses all regional and local tax benefits for hybrid cars, such as exemption from stamp duty for 5 years in many regions or by the obligation to toll for parking in the blue zone in some cities. Of course, it also accesses the new state incentives, thanks to the very small CO2 emissions.

Record efficiency
Thanks to the HEARTECT frame and one of the smallest mass in the category, SWIFT has always had extraordinary efficiency. The New SWIFT HYBRID takes these skills to the extreme by positioning themselves as the most thrifty car in the Suzuki range. With the switch to the K12D engine, fuel consumption and emissions
6% and 5% respectively. In detail, the CO2 emitted by the 2WD versions drops from 94 to 88 g/km and the combined consumption goes from 4.1 to 3.9 l/100 km, according to the NEDC standard. For 4×4 cars with traction 4x4AllGrip CO2 emitted reduces from 101 to 95 g/km and consumption decreases from 4.4 to 4.2 l/100 km, also in the NEDC cycle. To have a measure of the progress made, compared to the previous gasoline version, the New SWIFT HYBRID was able to reduce consumption by 15% on the cycle 26% in the urban cycle, where more than you appreciate the contribution of the Suzuki hybrid system.

More than ever “all standard, no surprises”
True to a business strategy that focuses on a clear and transparent price list, Suzuki offers New SWIFT HYBRID in two trim levels, COOL and TOP. Adaptive cruise control and “non-dazzle” system (dazzling-dazzling automatic switch with recognition of the other cars). All of these systems operate through the combined operation of a monocular camera, radar and a laser sensor. In addition, full LED headlights and parking sensors are introduced as standard rear over the entire range.

The new SWIFT HYBRID offers the Auto variant of its AllGrip, a viscous joint transmission can automatically transfer the pair rear axle when a loss of grip is detected front axle.
