2024 Togg T10F Fastback

Turkish global technology brand Togg presented its new T10F fastback model at CES 2024 in Las Vegas .

The T10F combines dynamic all-electric performance with advanced connectivity to redefine contemporary mobility and is designed to integrate fully and seamlessly into its users' lives.

Its launch follows the phenomenal success of Togg's first device, the T10X C-segment SUV, which achieved 177,000 pre-orders in just twelve days.

The T10F presented at CES 2024 is not a concept, but rather a pre-series prototype, already ready for production. Togg will complete its testing and development program ahead of its Turkish and European market launch in 2025 .

Autonomy and performance

The T10F is a harmonious synthesis between practicality and performance with a maximum autonomy of up to 600 km , variable based on the configuration of the propulsion system. The T10F will be available in three versions : Standard Range rear-wheel drive (Rear-Wheel-Drive RWD), Long Range RWD and Long Range four-wheel drive (All-Wheel-Drive AWD). The top version, the Long Range AWD uses 320 kW from two motors, pushing the Togg sports fastback from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.

RWD models will feature a single 160 kW engine, while all versions will benefit from exceptional aerodynamic efficiency thanks to a drag coefficient of less than 0.23. The Standard Range models will have a battery with a capacity of 52.4 kWh, while the Long Range versions will reach 88.5 kWh. On all models, charging from 20 to 80% can be completed in just 28 minutes . Furthermore, the T10F will be equipped with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology , which will allow it to be used as an external power source. This will offer its users the ability to experiment with a number of new practical uses. Users will also have the option to choose between two different equipment levels V1 or V2, with the V2 featuring more advanced autonomous driving features and enhanced safety systems.

Chassis

Built on the same platform as Togg's first successful vehicle, the T10X C-segment SUV, the T10F offers a sportier driving experience whilst remaining comfortable and practical in everyday use. The monocoque chassis is made of high-strength steel , thus ensuring the integrity of the passenger compartment and protection for the most delicate components such as the battery pack, and also giving greater rigidity to the chassis. Stability is further improved by a carefully thought-out weight distribution and a lowered center of gravity. Featuring independent MacPherson strut front suspension and fully independent integral multilink rear suspension, the engineering team has worked to ensure that the T10F offers an optimal combination of sporty, dynamic handling and the ability to remain comfortable and refined over long distances. routes. It will have a wheelbase of 2890 mm, a ground clearance of 155 mm and will weigh between 1,939 and 2,215 kg, depending on the version chosen.

Safety and autonomy

Designed to achieve a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating , the T10F features advanced safety systems that integrate with its robust monocoque structure. It is equipped with seven airbags as standard , along with a series of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that can evolve through continuous learning and automatic over-the-air (OTA) updating. These include an advanced adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality that works in coordination with a sign detection system, an advanced lane keeping system and lane departure warning . The new Togg device will also be equipped with a panoramic view camera , blind spot assistance , driver attention alert , advanced electronic stability control and automatic parking assistance.

The Togg T10F will also include the new "Rush Hour Pilot" function which allows users to take their hands off the steering wheel in heavy traffic at up to 15 km/h , allowing the vehicle to proceed autonomously. This feature will be available on T10F models with V2 level equipment.

Exterior design

As with its predecessor – and Turkish culture – the T10F combines elements of the "passionate" East and the "rational" West. It is the result of a long-term collaboration between Togg Design Studio and the renowned Italian design studio Pininfarina . The silhouette and lines of the T10F reflect the distinctive design language introduced by the T10X. Starting from the same platform, the design teams worked on the maximum height and overhangs to obtain sportier, fastback proportions.

The design deviates from the classic three-volume fastback shape, adopting a more dynamic and fluid side line to better reflect its sporty nature.

Key features include a sculpted line that runs from the front to the rear door, a rear fender edge that wraps around the door handle, and a vertical chrome element on the C-pillar, enhanced by another chrome line placed above the windows to accentuate the fastback shape.

The T10F's design emphasizes detail and aerodynamics , with sunken door handles and sculpted wheels to optimize airflow. The surface of the rear fenders follows the base of the rear window, incorporating a naturally integrated spoiler and giving the rear volume an elegant and distinctive aesthetic. The cut of the rear pillar allows for a two-tone roof, also available as an option on a fully glazed panoramic variant.

The front of the T10F features 'boomerang' daytime running lights, Togg's signature light, with long, thin arrows integrated into the sporty front fascia. The grille has been sculpted with chrome inserts that resemble the petals of a tulip, the symbol of Turkey. The rear light design reflects that of the SUV, with a side marker light that emphasizes the width of the vehicle. The aerodynamic vents on the rear bumper match those at the front, for complete design consistency.

The iconic "Colors of Türkiye"

Exterior paint finish options are inspired by – and named for – elements of Turkey's captivating natural beauty and its most significant sights. The T10F underlines its modern and sporty exterior design by introducing two new Turkish-inspired color variants and offering a contrasting roof option, thus giving the model a distinctive differentiation compared to the T10X.

Design Interno

The interior of the T10F evokes familiarity and comfort that integrates perfectly with everyday life − serving as the user's "third space", alongside the workspace and home. Its centerpiece is a stunning 41.3-inch end-to-end screen , made up of a 12.3-inch display for the instruments and a 29-inch screen for infotainment , all powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon® processor .

Vehicle functions are controlled by an 8-inch touch panel, complemented by a wireless charging pad . Entertainment is enhanced by a Meridian 12-speaker Hi-Fi system and an on-board "social camera" completes the interior.

For added ease and convenience, the T10F features Keyless Go access and users can access the device and use it via the Togg smartphone application or by scanning their keycard.

While building on the foundations of the T10X, the new model features an updated steering wheel, door panels and seats. Each of these elements has been completely reworked to better suit the aesthetics and sporty nature of the fastback. The seats , in particular, feature a completely new design with new stitching and shapes, reminiscent of tulip petals. They are also electrically adjustable and have a memory function to remember each user's preferences. Heated front and rear seats are available as an option.
