In a grand ceremony held in London today, the TR25 by Makkina takes center stage, embodying the spirit of the beloved British roadster while embracing a fresh, contemporary design direction. The Triumph TR2 MVC575 etched its name in speed record history through its triumphant performance during the renowned speed trials in Jabekke, Northern Belgium, in 1953. Test driver Ken Richardson achieved an astounding record-breaking speed of 124.889 mph behind the wheel of the 'Jabbeke' TR2, also known as MVC575. This pre-production prototype car featured streamlined components such as an under shield, rear-wing spats, and a metal cockpit cover.
