The 2023 Honda e:NP1 is an upcoming all-electric SUV from Honda's China joint venture GAC Honda. As one of the first models in Honda's new e:N series focused on the Chinese market, the e:NP1 will offer up to 510km of range from its CATL-sourced battery when it launches in mid-2022.


e:NP1 Exterior and Interior Design

With dimensions of 4390mm long, 1790mm wide, and 1560mm tall riding on a 2610mm wheelbase, the e:NP1 has a sporty shape defined by a high waistline and large multi-spoke wheels. Up front, the headlights are integrated into a polygonal grille that contains Honda's illuminated "H" logo.

Inside, the e:NP1 features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 15.2-inch central touchscreen display. The new e:N OS software integrates Honda's CONNECT 3.0 system and Sensing 360 advanced driver assistance tech. The Sensing 360 suite uses 5 radars to enable 360-degree sensing capabilities.


e:NP1 Range, Charging and Performance

The e:NP1 will come in two battery and range configurations:

  • 53.6kWh battery with 420km range
  • 68.8kWh battery with 510km range

Both versions use a single electric motor, with outputs of 134kW/310Nm for the shorter range model and 150kW/310Nm for the extended range version. DC fast charging capability will allow quick charging to 80% in around 30 minutes.


e:NP1 Driver Assistance and Safety

Honda's Sensing 360 system in the e:NP1 will be the first implementation of 360-degree sensing tech in a China-market model when it launches. This includes collision avoidance, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and other advanced driver aids.

The e:NP1 will also feature Honda's DMC driver monitoring system to perceive the driver's status and emotion, sending safety reminders when needed.

The 2023 Honda e:NP1 electric SUV represents an important part of Honda's electrification strategy for China and globally.
